Mother and her teenage son, Cody, live under the same roof, separated by a rift deeper than any physical wall. Traumatized by the loss of his father, Cody retreats into isolation, anonymity, and dark online subcultures, while Mother struggles helplessly to reconnect.

In a desperate bid to understand her son, Mother creates a fake social media profile—adopting the online persona of a mysterious goth girl named Toffee.

As Tower Raven (Cody) opens up to Toffee, an intense, intimate bond forms in the digital dark. But as the line between fantasy and reality blurs, a dangerous web of deception threatens to pull them both toward an inescapable collapse.
